I am so thrilled and excited to be teaching 3rd Grade Math and Science this year! As soon as I get my keys and the go ahead I will show you all the bare bones of the PAD (aka classroom). Did I tell you how excited I am! I am also team teaching this year with a fantastic teacher, Mrs. Darcey (how cool is that!)
Back to Math, this year I am going for the Froggy theme in my Math area, with brown background and green polka dot borders. My wonderful All Star students will be able to 'hoppity' on over for their math lesson, for Teacher Time. Then 'hoppity' on over to their desks for Lesson Work. Lastly, they will 'hoppity' on over to the computers for Fact Practice or the jelly bean table for Centers. These lessons will be student-centerd and aligned with the Utah Common Core Curriculum.
Science is going to be a BLAST!!!! Literally, I have planned some amazing lessons that I will share soon about Space, Force and Motion and more. My Science Bucket is getting quite full.
